Oxygen Scavenger & metal passivator

PURPOSE

WSB®DEHA  is volatile, liquid, catalyzed solution of diethylhydroxylamine (DEHA). It is used to remove dissolved oxygen from boiler, closed loop, and other industrial waters. It minimizes oxygen pitting and corrosion potential.

WSB®DEHA is designed for use in many types of steam or hot water boiler systems.

 ADVANTAGES

WSB®DEHA  is an all organic formula designed to replace hydrazine, or hydrazine substitutes as oxygen scavenger in boiler systems. Due to the catalyst included in the formulation WSB®DEHA  in contrast with older DEHA products, is very reactive in the removal of dissolved oxygen from industrial boiler and process water, with reaction times that are substantially faster (up to 8-11 times) than conventional DEHA

Other advantages of WSB®DEHA are :

  • It does not contribute TDS to boiler water.
  • It can easily be controlled by simple analytical procedures.

WSB®DEHA  is a volatile amine product. That means that the residual of WSB®DEHA  carried out to the steam, not only eliminates oxygen, but alters also the pH.So low pH condensate corrosion is minimized.

Application

  • WSB®DEHA  can be used to effectively remove oxygen from steam systems operating at pressures up to 850 psig.
  • WSB®DEHA  must be fed neat or as diluted solution, after the deaerator heater, preferably into the deaerator storage tank.

Safety

WSB®DEHA is a 30% solution of catalyzed DEHA, which is the maximum allowable concentration for safety (non flammable, non explosive or hazardous ) under our climate conditions.

Observe the warning label on product container. Before use please refer to material safety data sheet (MSDS) for additional information on wealth and safety handling features.

FDA / USDA regulations

WSB®DEHA  cannot be used under FDA / USDA restricted plants, or when the steam can contact directly food or edible products.
