Bromine Slow Release Microbiocide
BDS 6610 microbiocide is an antimicrobial product designed specifically for
control of bacteria., fungal and algal slimes in industrial recirculating
cooling water systems. BDS 6610 is also effective for control of bacteria, fungi and algae in brewery pasteurizes, process applications, once through systems, sea water cooling systems, cooling ponds and lagoons. BDS 6610 can be combined with traditional chlorination as to improve control, especially under alkaline conditions. The quantity of BDS 6610 required for any given application will depend on such factor as the type and volume of the system, the extent of microbiological contamination and the degree of control required. BDS 6610 should only be dosed into the system, using an applicator. The injection point into the system should be the suction side of the circulating pumps or cold well.
Wear suitable protective gloves and safety goggles. In case of contact immediately flush with plenty of water. After eye contact seek medical advice. Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing dust. Contact of BDS 6610 with strong acids, bases, amines, ammonium compounds and other readily oxidizable materials should be avoided. Keep container closed.
