The recommended shock frequency is :

• Two times a week during summer time.
• Three times every two weeks during winter time.

So, considering 30 weeks/year as summer conditions, and 22 weeks/year as winter conditions the required consumption will be :

6*2*30=360 kilos per year per 1.000 m³/h sea water flow for summer

6*3/2*22 = 198 kilos per year per 1.000 m³/h sea water flow for winter
